This course gives an overview of event planning and the tasks and responsibilities of people who work in this fast-moving, ever-changing and challenging industry. This course gives an introduction to the events industry and the role an events organiser, coordinator or planner plays. Using several real life examples, you will examine the whole planning process, including producing a plan for the event. You will learn how to deal with unexpected problems, security and the importance of health and safety.
