In this course you will learn about the four fundamental British values. You will cover the voting system and the structure of the government. You will look at the media and types of media reporting. You will also consider how diverse Britian is. 

Who is the course aimed at?

This course really is for anyone and could be taken standalone, alongside a larger programme of study or as a top-up training module. There are no specific entry requirements for this course. Basic understanding of English language, literacy, numeracy and ICT are required to complete this course.

Access Duration

You will have 12 months of access to your online study platform from the date you purchased the course. You can complete the course in stages, revisiting the training at any time. It is self-paced so you can decide how quickly to progress through it.

Method of Assessment

At the end of the course, learners will take an online multiple-choice question assessment test. This online multiple choice question test is marked automatically so you will receive an instant grade and know whether you have passed the course. The pass mark is 70%.

Successful candidates will be awarded a digital PDF certificate of completion.
