Description

The Basic Life Support course is refresher training developed to provide healthcare professionals with a general understanding of how to respond in an emergency situation. The course is designed to be consistent with the Australian and New Zealand Committee on Resuscitation (ANZCOR) guidelines. Basic Life Support teaches based on the DRSABCD structure, as outlined by ANZCOR.   

Who is the course aimed at?

This short programme can be taken standalone or as a supplement to a larger qualification. Where there are no specific entry requirements, a good grasp of English, Maths and ICT would be beneficial and advised.

Access Duration

You will have 12 months of access to your online study platform from the date you purchased the course. You can complete the course in stages, revisiting the training at any time. It is self-paced so you can decide how quickly to progress through it.

Method of Assessment

Throughout the course, learners will undertake a variety of activities including multiple-choice questions and self-reflections on their learning. Learners need to complete the reading and activities on all slides for overall course completion.

Certification

Successful candidates will be awarded a digital PDF certificate of completion.
