Description

This course introduces health and safety in the wind turbine industry, covering electrics and electronics, working at height, first aid, and responding to choking incidents. It also addresses manual handling, fire safety awareness, medium risk confined spaces, and marine safety and sea survival. Additionally, the course explores employment fundamentals in the wind turbine sector, focusing on skill and knowledge development for future employment.

Who is the course aimed at?

This short programme can be taken standalone or as a supplement to a larger qualification. Where there are no specific entry requirements, a good grasp of English, Maths and ICT would be beneficial and advised.
