Learning Curve Group CPD - TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Allergy Awareness
Overview
Research from the Food Standards Agency (FSA) states that around 6% of the population live with a diagnosed food allergy, but around 30% of adults reported experiencing an adverse reaction when eating certain foods. Food allergies can be life threatening, so it's important that food is labelled and handled correctly to keep people with allergies safe.
Local authorities are responsible for enforcing allergen information regulations, but businesses need to ensure that all staff have up-to-date allergy training. This food allergy course will give you an understanding of allergens, the causes, and how to deal with reactions.
In this course you will study two mandatory units, plus a third optional unit relating to either the service industry, Adult Care or Childcare.
