You will be introduced to key terms and the differences between them such as sex, gender identity, sexual orientation and gender expression. You will also look at the history of changing attitudes and protections in the UK, with emphasis on inclusion for example use of pronouns. Finally you will learn how to support gender dysphoria and transitioning and further sources of support. 

Access Duration

You will have 12 months of access to your online study platform from the date you purchased the course. You can complete the course in stages, revisiting the training at any time. It is self-paced so you can decide how quickly to progress through it.

Method of Assessment

At the end of the course, learners will take an online multiple-choice question assessment test. This online multiple choice question test is marked automatically so you will receive an instant grade and know whether you have passed the course. The pass mark is 80%.

Successful candidates will be awarded a digital PDF certificate of completion.
